Kim T. Whitehurst, MA, LPC, NCC
Mr. Whitehurst holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from
Regent University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North
Carolina and a National Certified Counselor.
Kim has been a member of the staff of Associates in Christian Counseling
since 1992.
Kim works exclusively with adult clients. His special areas of
interest include sexual addiction, family of origin trauma, abuse,
depression, anxiety and grief.
Kim has a special interest and training in theotherapy, a discipline
within Christian counseling that pursues healing for individuals
through theological and psychological principles. He is the author
of articles on shame and Biblical sexuality for Theotherapy Seminars,
Inc. training manual.
“I felt called by God to help heal broken-hearted people,”
Kim says. Mr. Whitehurst believes that “God is the only one
who heals us and makes us whole and mature.”
He heals the brokenhearted and
binds up their wounds.
