Jay Slaydon, MS, LMFT
Jay Slaydon earned his Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Wright State University in Dayton, OH, in 1993. He is a NC licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). Prior to his clinical training, Slaydon earned a BA in Christian Ministries from Cincinnati Christian University serving for over 20 years in a variety of church settings and staff positions.
Mr. Slaydon works with children, teenagers, adults and couples. His areas of expertise include emotional and behavioral difficulties in young children and adolescents as well as issues related to adults and families. Jay also specializes in parenting and church related issues.
Jay is excited to see God work in the lives of people, bringing completion to what Jesus has begun. One of his greatest desires is to facilitate individuals, couples, families and groups to function in a healthy manner. He is humbled by being allowed to be a small part of this process of change and healing.
