I Serve - Liz Walley
Liz Walley is the newest member of ACC’s Board of Directors.
She joined the Board in January, 2006.
“I first heard about Associates in Christian Counseling 4
or 5 years ago from another Board member, Bob Mills. He invited
my husband and me to be his guests at the annual banquet that year.
I was so impressed by the sense of God’s Spirit in the entire
evening that we have been sponsors ourselves ever since.”
Mrs. Walley shared that she had been searching to discover the
area of service the Lord had for her; then she was asked to serve
on the Board of ACC. “After thinking and praying about it,
I agreed to serve. Since my first Board meeting, I’ve known
this was what the Lord has prepared for me. The Spirit is clearly
at work in the hearts of these Board members as they seek to guide,
support and encourage this ministry.”
Liz is a strong advocate for the ACC. “Being part of a blended
family, I personally recognize the value of counseling in helping
people work through complicated places. ACC is available to anyone
who is willing to call. Their professional staff is able to help.
I consider it a privilege to love others through my service on the
Board of Associates in Christian Counseling.”
Liz Walley is a recovery room nurse at Forsyth Medical Center.
