Why I Serve - Steve Robertson

Steve Robertson has served on the board of Associates in Christian Counseling since 2004.

“I’d known Joe Verga for a number of years as a member of my church and Sunday School class long before I knew much about ACC. My experience with ACC became quite personal when my wife and I availed ourselves of their services for some family counseling,” Steve shared candidly. Years later when asked to serve on the Board, he didn’t hesitate.

Robertson believes that most pastors and churches don’t have the time or the training to deal with the great need for counseling which exists in our community. “Marriages and families are struggling. Individuals are dealing with personal issues. ACC provides a safe, confidential place with trained, professional counselors. Their guidance is consistent with God’s Word and it works.”

“I truly believe in this ministry. I have a great deal of love and respect for ACC’s dedicated staff and I consider it a privilege to serve,” Steve concluded.
