A New Face - David Pate

We welcome David Pate to the clinical staff of Associates in Christian Counseling this month.  David is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and a certified PREP counselor for premarital and marital enrichment.

Although he was born in Fayetteville, NC, David spent most of his life in FL where he earned a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale.  Two years ago he and his family relocated to Greensboro, NC, his wife’s hometown.

David comes to Associates with twenty years of experience in human services and behavioral healthcare.  He has helped individuals and families from a wide variety of backgrounds and faiths dealing with emotional, spiritual and relational struggles, assisting them to break free from the obstacles that have kept them from living productive and satisfying lives.

With his range of training and experience, David works with clients of all ages from children through adults, individuals, couples and families.  His specialty areas include relationship issues, addictions of all types,  co-dependency issues, childhood trauma, spiritual and religious issues which inhibit a genuine relationship with God.

David feels called to Christian counseling “because God has privileged me to see His mercy and experience His love in my own life and has given me the honor of working with others needing to be set free from various struggles.”
