A New Face

There is a new face at ACC. Anne Farrell joined our clinical staff on May 1st and is working with a variety of issues and clients.

Anne received her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder then relocated to Winston-Salem for her husband’s position. In 2004 she received her MA in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte.

Mrs. Farrell will be working on relationship issues, doing both premarital and marital counseling. Anne also shared that one of her favorite internships during her training was with Hospice. She enjoyed the opportunity to use both play and art therapy with children and adolescents. She will be using this training at ACC as well.

When asked for her thoughts about becoming part of the ACC family, Anne had several things to say. “I am looking forward to be at a counseling center where I may integrate my Christian worldview into the work I do. I am also thrilled to be at Associates in Christian Counseling because of the high regard with which it is held and the excellent reputation it has in our community. Many lives and families have been impacted through the work of the clinicians at ACC and I am honored and humbled to be a part of this group.”
