May 2009

Dear Friends,

In this issue we reflect on a wonderful evening with Coach Jerry Moore at our annual banquet.  It was a tremendous success as the article reveals.

With May being Mental Health Month, we feel newly equipped and empowered to continue our work in the community.  Thank you for your faithful support.

Blessings,
Dr. Joe Verga
Executive Director

A Special Blessing

For those of you who have attended the past few years, you know we have a drawing for a special gift or two.  This year Janice Waltrip was the winner of a football from Appalachian’s 2006 National Championship game autographed by Coach Jerry Moore.

After the banquet, she decided to auction off her gift and donate the proceeds to Associates!  Thanks so much, Janice, for the special blessing
